Welcome to the Compass Diagnostic for the 2026 Public Safety Summit: Navigating Complexity, Leading Forward.
This Compass is a quick survey that will help us generate and collect ideas, insights, and opinions prior to our two days together. Your input is critical as the Compass, like a mechanical compass, will give direction and context to Summit dialogue and contribute to the overall learning environment of our time together.
Our goal this year is to help you advance your vision and strategy for improving public safety outcomes, and sustaining progress during challenging times. As social unrest deepens, political dynamics escalate, and trust in policing declines, many public safety organizations are operating in a state of permacrisis. At the same time, these intense pressures create an opportunity to clarify the purpose of public safety and lead forward with a new vision and strategy for the future.
The following Think Tank section will gather your ideas and help inform our discussions at the Summit.
