The Government Reinvention Roundtable
Forging a Bold Path Forward
When & Where
June 24-26, 2026

About the Summit

State governments are facing demands for new outcomes and public value, while navigating an environment that is unrelenting in disruption and change. For visionary leaders in government, this moment creates an opportunity to forge a bold path forward.

Future-oriented leaders understand that progress is neither simple nor turnkey. Achieving new levels of outcomes and value in government requires inventiveness, disciplined execution, and breakthroughs in both effectiveness and efficiency. This journey also requires steady leadership to guide economic and workforce impacts, and engage the stakeholders and constituents who make progress possible.

To meet this pressing moment and prepare for the future, Leadership for a Networked World and Accenture are convening the inaugural Government Reinvention Roundtable, taking place June 24 - 26, 2026 at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

During the Roundtable, we will grapple with and generate ideas on issues such as:

  • Balancing the Present and Future: How can leaders sustain critical programs and improve service performance while also managing fiscal constraints and building the capabilities required for the next generation?
  • Pacing Innovation and Change: What novel strategies can evolve dated policies and practices; leverage responsible uses of AI, and embrace modern technologies to simplify, improve, and streamline the systems that drive government performance?
  • Fostering an Agile Workforce and Culture: How can leaders upskill and retool the workforce, improve collaboration and integration across agencies and sectors, and foster an environment for sustained innovation and change?

The Roundtable is designed to create an exclusive, private, and non-partisan environment for Chiefs of Staff and senior government leaders to share ideas candidly and openly on current challenges and opportunities.

Roundtable participants will gain membership to a community of peers and experts and leave the experience prepared and poised to adapt, innovate, and lead measurable reinvention in their respective state governments.
